Fall Traditions: BOO Basket

Autumn in Arkansas is something I look forward to every year. I eagerly anticipate that first fall morning … you know the one where you step outside and the air is so crisp that it stings your throat a little? That first fall breath brings joy to my heart. In that first breath I can smell football stadium popcorn, taste pumpkin and apple spice, and hear a high school drumline. Ahhh- I just love it! October brings the first holiday of the season, Halloween.  It’s hard to replace the time-tested tradition of trick-or-treating (who knows how that will go this year?) but there is an alternative . . . and yes . . . the exchange of candy is involved!

This year try Boo-ing your friends, family or neighbors! Boo-ing is a super easy, fun-filled activity that you can make into a fall family tradition! You don’t have to be a creative master to put together a Boo Basket and you can do it with kids of all ages.

Hey adult friends, Boo-ing is not limited to kid-friendly snacks or gifts! Try BOOz-ing your 21+ aged pals with a BOOzy Basket. Grab some liquor or champagne minis from your local liquor store. Pair the alcohol with a mixer ( Whiskey + Coke, Gin + Tonic, Vodka + Soda, Tequila + Topo Chico) and your go-to bar snack! Got a special someone in our life or know a cute couple in need of a date night? Try gifting them a BOO-thing Basket for an easy date night at home. Fill the basket with a bottle of wine, dry pasta and a jar of pasta sauce. Don’t forget to include a bag or two of popcorn (dinner and a movie --wow-- what a nice friend you are!) or a chocolate bar for dessert!

Send me your contact information via Instagram DM or on my blog contact page & I’ll send you my FREE Boo printable!

Tag a friend on my instagram post ( @Lils_Brackins ) & tell them what you appreciate about them OR tag me in your instastory BOO’ing your friends for a chance to win my favorite LUX candle!

Winner will be announced Saturday by 7 p.m.!
